What is 2FA?
2FA is the abbreviation of Two-Factor Authentication, which can generate a time-based one-time password (TOTP) through a third-party app (such as Google Authenticator) to provide an extra layer of account protection.
Why set up 2FA?
Kikitrade users are required to set up 2FA when withdrawing assets to ensure their security. Every time you withdraw cryptos, you must enter an additional one-time password to ensure that the withdrawal request is made by you. In this way, if you accidentally leak your user name and password, third parties cannot steal your assets because they do not have your mobile phone to request 2FA.
How do I set up 2FA?
Kikitrade recommends that users use Google Authenticator as third-party authentication. Refer to the following detailed setup instructions: 〈How to Set Up 2FA to Ensure Asset Security〉
